Graeme Dott battled to victory against Ali Carter to book himself a quarter final match against Judd Trump with a 13-11 win.

Dott was full of praise for his opponent after the match having been made to work very hard to win some very close frames. Dott and Carter were neck and neck at 8-8 and it took breaks of 95, 93, and 70 by Dott to seperate the two players.
