John Higgins v Graeme Dott is the fourth first round match in The Masters 2011 and will get under way 7:00pm on Monday the 10th of January.

John Higgins has made a phenomenal return to World Snooker and has won 18 out of 19 matches since returning from a ban for bringing the game into disrepute. He’s climbed back up the World Snooker rankings to the number one spot and is favourite to beat Graeme Dott in their 2011 The Masters first round match. John Higgins has admitted he struggles in the Wembley arena due to the intensity of the atmosphere. He’s still managed to win The Masters twice albeit not in a fashion he would’ve preferred to.

Fellow Scotsmen Graeme Dott, currently 10th in the World Snooker rankings, tested John Higgins in the 2010 UK Championship second round losing 9 frames 8 to the eventual competition winner in December of last year.

The winner of the between John Higgins and Graeme Dott will play Ding Junhui who beat Mark Williams 6-4 in The Masters quarter final.
