Marco Fu defeated Stephen Maguire 6 frames to 4 despite a spirited comeback from the Scotsman who had been trailing 5-1 behind in The Masters 2011 first round.

Despite a thrilling break of 142 to reduce a 5-1 deficit to 5-4, Stephen Maguire was unable to continue his comeback and lost 6-4 to Hong Kong’s Marco Fu.

Marco Fu got off to an excellent start in The Masters 2011 first round taking advantage of Stephen Maguire’s poor form to build a 4 frame advantage, that put him just one frame away from clinching the victory.
