Mark Allen shocked the crowds again at the Wembley Arena with a 6-4 win against world champion Neil Robertson in the quarter final of The Masters setting up a Mark Allen v Marco Fu semi final.

Mark Allen has had a tough run to the semi final of The Masters facing Ronnie O’Sullivan in the first round and Neil Robertson in the quarter final. Spurred on by his victory against O’Sullivan, Allen started the quarter final match playing confident, aggressive snooker and developed an early two frame lead. Neil Robertson was able to reply with three back-to-back frames to take the lead for the first time in the match at 3-2. Allen was able to pull a frame back to level the scores at 3-3 but again the Australian notched up another frame to regain the lead at 4-3. Robertson looked in control of the match and had become favourite to win it but Mark Allen produced breaks of 57, 75 and 69 to win the game 6-4 and progress to the semi final.
