Mark Selby World Snooker Championship Second Round

Mark Selby needed just one frame in the final session of his second round match against Stephen Hendry in the World Snooker Championship. A miss on the black having scored 39 let Hendry back into the match but he failed to make it count on Selby added a break of 81 to win the frame and match.

As well as a convincing victory against the 7 times world champion Mark Selby also broke the record for the number of centuries in a 25 frame match. He notched up six centuries to beat the record of 5 previously held by Stephen Hendry.

Mark Selby is now odds on favourite to win the World Snooker Championship and will face the winner of the match between Ding Junhui and Stuart Bingham in the quarter finals.
