Stephen Maguire breezed passed Stephen Hendry to progress into the quarter finals of the 2012 World Snooker Championship beating the former world champion 13 – 2 with a session to spare. Ronnie O’Sullivan continue to show outstanding form and comfortably beat Australian Neil Robertson 13 - 10. Matthew Stevens eased passed Ryan Day 13 frames to 5 to book his place into the quarter finals. The match between Ali Carter and Jamie Jones is yet to be concluded.
